uPVC Systems

VIVA PLAST

The VIVA PLAST profile system was developed, engineered, and tested in collaboration with experts from the German Institute in Rosenheim. The system fully complies with the EN 12608 standards established by the European Committee for the Standardization of uPVC window and door systems. Our profiles are manufactured using state-of-the-art equipment from industry leaders such as Greiner Extrusionstechnik and Krauss Maffei. The production process is fully automated, with quality guaranteed by the specialized GETU control program, developed by the "Greiner Extrusionstechnik" Institute.

The VIVA PLAST profile system is manufactured at a state-of-the-art facility in Northern Bulgaria, located in the city of Shumen. The factory is equipped with eight next-generation extrusion lines. Our production process utilizes the most advanced extrusion dies in Bulgaria, featuring a specialized high-performance coating—the so-called "Power Tools".

The functionality of extruded profiles largely depends on the raw materials used and their specific ratio. In close cooperation with specialists from the Austrian company "Chemson Polymer Chemie", an optimal formula has been developed specifically for the VIVA PLAST profile systems. This ensures that our profiles fully comply with European standards for quality and functionality, including UV resistance, perfect color stability, high surface gloss, and structural hardness. Laboratory tests have proven excellent results regarding heat resistance, moisture protection, and sound insulation. The profile structure is fire-retardant and resistant to deformation. It is environmentally friendly, 100% lead-free, and designed to prevent the accumulation of water, stains, and dust.

VIVA PLAST uPVC profiles are an excellent choice for regions with climatic conditions like those in Bulgaria. Even when exposed to extreme atmospheric fluctuations-including high humidity, temperature swings from above 35°C to below -10°C, varying atmospheric pressure, and acid rain-the profiles maintain their structural integrity and performance characteristics.

Windows manufactured with VIVA PLAST profiles offer versatile glazing options, supporting both double glazing (24mm) and triple glazing units up to 44mm in thickness. During the design phase, Austrian engineers strategically selected grey gaskets for white profiles and black gaskets for colored profiles. This aesthetic solution is perfectly in line with modern industry trends. Furthermore, the profiles feature a distinctive rounded design, providing the window system with a sleek and contemporary look.

In addition to classic white, VIVA PLAST profile systems are available as single-sided or double-sided laminated profiles. We offer a selection of high-quality standard decors, including Golden Oak, Mahogany, Walnut, Wenge, and Anthracite.

VIVA PLAST is everything you need when choosing uPVC joinery for your windows and doors. Our wide array of systems and the continuous improvement of our profiles drive the ongoing development, enrichment, and modernization of the solutions we offer.

That is why we at "TDM Plast" Ltd. have placed our trust in the "VIVA PLAST" profile system.

This system also features a specially developed 6-chamber water-drip sash. Its unique design and rounded geometry, combined with high functionality and excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties, make it a preferred aesthetic accent for any window. Furthermore, its innovative design provides extra protection for the rubber gasket, shielding it from harsh weather conditions and extending its lifespan.

VIVA PLAST 8700 is a standout contemporary profile system. Its premium build quality and multi-chamber engineering are designed to provide the best possible thermal insulation. When combined with the appropriate high-performance glazing, this system is engineered to reduce heating energy consumption by up to 70%.

The system is engineered with a specially developed EPDM central gasket. But what exactly is a central gasket? Put simply, this third seal (the so-called ‘functional rebate’) divides the space between the window sash and the frame into two distinct chambers: an outer chamber (cold and moist) and an inner chamber (warm and dry). The central gasket significantly enhances window performance by preventing undesirable issues such as water penetration, hardware corrosion, and condensation on the frame or sash.

The only notable limitation of this system is that it does not include specific profiles for the manufacture of heavy-duty main entrance doors.

How does TDM Plast Ltd. manufacture your windows and doors? We believe that the quality of the final product depends as much on the premium materials as it does on the precision of the manufacturing process.

GEALAN

GEALAN is a leading German manufacturer of innovative uPVC profile systems for windows and doors. The company’s heritage dates back to 1921, when it was founded by Adam Fickenscher as a wool processing factory under the name "Schlegel bei Hof".

In 1956, the company’s expertise in emerging technologies and new raw materials paved the way for the processing of thermoplastic materials and, subsequently, the extrusion of uPVC profiles. By 1968, the first window profile system was developed under the name GEALAN-a name so successful that it later became the official identity of the entire company.

In 1980, GEALAN developed a groundbreaking colored profile called "acrylcolor". The process of extruding colored acrylic glass was a major innovation, providing a product with extreme weather resistance and color durability. This established GEALAN as the only uPVC profile company in Europe to offer such advanced acrylic surface technology. During the same year, GEALAN launched the production of profiles using the co-extrusion method. This process involves fused a layer of plexiglass (PMMA), between 0.3 mm and 0.7 mm thick, onto the profile surface during the extrusion process. Because co-extrusion occurs at very high temperatures, the two materials bond inseparably. The resulting profile surface is silky smooth, UV-resistant, weatherproof, anti-static, and highly resistant to mechanical impacts.

Over the next 30 years, the company grew significantly – a new plant was opened in Tanna, Thuringia, as well as sales, production, and logistics centers in Poland, Russia, Romania, Croatia, France, and others. These successful transformations demonstrate GEALAN's strength in innovative technology and manufacturing, placing it among the top producers of PVC profiles.

Gealan profile systems are characterized by a number of innovative patented technologies:

  • Acrylcolor – a unique coating, colors characterized by high wear resistance.
  • STV (static dry glazing) – allows for the easy production of large-scale windows.
  • IKD (intensive heat insulation) – a technology with impressive insulation performance.

Beyond high quality and innovative technology, GEALAN places a strong emphasis on 'green' manufacturing and environmental preservation. In May 1997, GEALAN was successfully certified according to ISO 14001 environmental management standards. These ecological standards have been fully integrated into the company’s QSU (Quality, Safety, and Environment) management system and further certified under ISO 9001:2000. This ensures that every GEALAN profile is produced with a minimal carbon footprint and a deep respect for nature.

Today, the GEALAN Group is a leading force and a powerful partner in the uPVC window and door profile market. GEALAN’s factories operate in strict accordance with European standards—specifically DIN EN ISO 9001. This ensures a rigorous quality control process that begins with the inspection of raw materials and continues through every stage of production, concluding with the final certification of the finished product.

Years of experience, a growing network of satisfied clients, and our reputation as a 'trusted and reliable' manufacturer led us to expand our portfolio. Driven by the desire to offer the Bulgarian market a premium German profile, TDM Plast Ltd. conducted a thorough analysis of various profile systems. As a result, in 2024, we proudly launched the production of windows and doors using the GEALAN brand. We have selected two flagship systems - GEALAN S 8000 and GEALAN S 9000 - designed to satisfy even the most sophisticated architectural tastes and performance requirements.
