INTERNAL

Internal window sills provide additional comfort and convenience to your home. They are called window boards and are installed horizontally beneath the window. They are manufactured from durable materials with an attractive and robust surface. They feature a profiled volumetric shape with many hollow chambers, which achieve exceptional insulation properties superior to natural materials. They are easy to maintain and clean, and are resistant to various cleaning agents. They do not absorb water, and water rings that may occur from damp flowerpots or placed glasses can be easily cleaned. Furthermore, they are insensitive to heat.

In addition to white, they are available in colors mimicking wood grain—golden oak, walnut, wenge, mahogany, anthracite, and more. They are also offered in various widths according to the customer's preferences.

If you have decided to have internal window boards, it is advisable to request them when ordering the windows, as they are installed together with the window itself. In most cases, it is possible to install the sill after the window installation, provided there is enough space underneath for it to fit—at least 20mm.

EXTERNAL

External window sills, or so-called "drips," are a necessity, regardless of whether they are part of a public building or your home. They are aesthetic, provide a finished look to the window frames, and enhance their atmosphere, but most importantly, they are practical. Installing an external sill saves you the effort of finishing the exterior masonry with construction materials.

The sill also facilitates more effective water drainage due to its distinct factory-made slope. It is installed on the outside of the window, at the bottom and/or top, and protrudes forward. In the case of a top-mounted installation, it serves as a drip cap (or canopy) and it is highly recommended to install it alongside the window itself due to the external access required.

In addition to white, they are available in other colors mimicking wood grain—golden oak, walnut, wenge, mahogany, and more. Since they are made of aluminum, they can also be powder-coated in any RAL color.
