Insect Screens

Modern insect screens, or so-called mosquito nets, are a durable and reliable solution to permanently resolve issues with annoying insects. They guarantee peace of mind during the warmer months by effectively protecting you from all kinds of flying insects. Mosquito nets require no maintenance other than basic cleaning. The frames are manufactured from aluminum profiles, making them durable and resistant. The mesh used features a silicone coating, ensuring it is resistant to UV rays and other atmospheric conditions. These screens do not take up much space and remain unobtrusive. They can be installed on windows and doors of any size and specification.

Depending on the configuration of a given window frame, various solutions are available for their implementation.

FIXED

Fixed insect screens are mounted directly to the window frame and do not open. They are suitable for all types of windows that are used solely for room ventilation. In many cases, they can be detached and reattached seasonally. This is achieved using magnets, snappers, or specially designed "pocket" brackets mounted on the frames.

HINGED

Hinged insect screens are suitable for all operable units—both windows and balcony doors. They open outwards and are attached to the frame with hinges, featuring a handle on the inside and a snapper or magnets on the outside. This type of screen is also suitable for installation on entrance doors. For this purpose, an additional aluminum spacer box is mounted to the screen frame, which prevents the door handle from pressing against the mesh. The mechanism is as simple as possible, ensuring long-term durability and use.

ROLLER

Roller insect screens are the optimal solution—convenient, reliable, and durable. This type of screen offers the advantage of being raised and lowered according to your needs (an integrated automatic mechanism rolls the mesh into a protective box). The ease of retracting the mesh makes cleaning the fixed parts of the window from the outside much simpler. During the winter months, the mesh can be kept retracted, which significantly extends its lifespan and protects it from aging and harsh wind gusts. Additionally, upon the customer's request, a brake can be installed in the automatic retraction mechanism to slow down the rolling process; this prevents the mesh from snapping back forcefully and practically eliminates the risk of tearing.

PLISSÉ

Plissé insect screens are a modern, elegant, and exceptionally practical solution for insect protection, characterized by a mesh that folds like an accordion within an aluminum frame. They are suitable for French windows, "Volkswagen" type sliding systems, and patio doors, retracting either horizontally or vertically. Ideal for limited spaces, they provide comfort and longevity, offering high durability and an aesthetic appearance.
